Certified Sellers Advocate was founded in response to recent changes in National Association of Realtors® (NAR) rules, which have created new challenges for real estate professionals and home sellers alike. The ability to broadcast unilateral offers of compensation—a key part of selling homes for top dollar in both up and down markets - has become more complex since the Dept of Justice has become involved in Class Actions Suits against the National Association of Realtors, Multiple Listing Services and National Brokerage Franchises.

Recognizing the need for greater protection and clarity in these transactions, our founder, a seasoned Real
Estate Broker, and attorney, established Certified Seller Advocate. With over three decades of legal experience since becoming an attorney in 1991, and nearly two decades as a licensed broker since 2004, our founder has a deep understanding of both the legal and practical aspects of real estate.

Why Can't Agents Broadcast Unilateral Offers of Compensation without an Attorney on the Team?
